From April 2026, a key part of the Main Grants programme will be developing community support across Lewisham in a more neighbourhood-focused, connected way, bringing together local organisations, community hubs, and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams to better support residents.
How does it work?

The online session was an opportunity for community groups and partners to:
- Hear an overview of the new service and how to get involved
- Find out about referrals, funding and support for community groups
- To shape the service during this pilot phase
This will be a soft launch, to hear from local community organisations to help refine and improve the service ahead of full rollout.
