When making your application you should consider the total amount of the fund you are applying to (Borough-wide or ward level pot), ensuring that you do not exceed this amount. Also, remember that each fund is likely to be allocated to a mix of Council and Community delivered projects, with all projects being assessed on value for money and how they best meet the fund criteria and Lewisham’s priorities.
Borough-Wide NCIL Fund
There is a total of £621,732.92 available for Borough-wide projects. Note that this fund will be used to fund Borough-wide Council delivered capital projects as well as borough-wide projects selected through the Borough-wide fund application process.
Ward NCIL Fund
The amount of funding available in each NCIL Ward Fund is listed in the Overview section of the guidance. Council delivered and community delivered projects proposed to take place in a specific ward or where one ward primarily benefits will be considered for funding from that Ward Fund.
